Dorett

Co-Founder and Executive Director

For over 25 years Dorett has worked in social and racial justice, including ending violence against women and girls movements across the UK and internationally.

Her Black feminist practice and expertise includes addressing inequality, creating anti-oppressive frameworks, intersectional approaches and mental well-being.  A consultant on organisational culture development and sustainability, she coaches, designs and leads on bespoke transformational programmes. Dorett has lectured on race, gender, sexuality, disability and media representations, public speaking, sexual violence and intersectional analysis.

She provides leadership training, supervision and coaching, including for TEDx talks. An internationally published writer, filmmaker and performer.

I am interested in creating spaces for people to pause, identify, address and end oppressive structures, through transformational action, collective well-being and freedom.

Jordan

Senior Consultant

Over the past 6 years Jordan has worked as a facilitator engaging men and boys to explore and challenge gender stereotypes, sexual violence and inequality in the many forms it takes.

He has worked across the UK in schools, universities and corporations as a freelance speaker & facilitator; delivering talks and workshops examining media representation, race and masculinity. He has recently worked with Comic Relief in their 2018 Mental Health campaign and continues to be an advocate for mental health.

I am interested in deconstructing the barriers society imposes on people's identity, allowing every person to live a life they love, choose and feel inspired by.
